2019 AAPA Mentoring Program Learning Hub #2 Presents
"21st Century LeaderShifts"
Co-Presented by JASSC

There’s a “Perfect Storm” happening in leadership today, and it’s being fueled by a new generation of leaders.  By challenging the status quo, millennials without even knowing it, is pushing to “shift” the way we lead in ways we never envisioned or wished for – leading that’s in sync with the twenty-first century.

The so-called “soft” stuff that provides generations of leaders ridiculed as useless, today is key.  We’re shifting to a “new normal” in leadership.  Neuroscience is proving that intellect, which is one-third of our innate intelligences is no longer enough in a world where robots are replacing people.  The other two-thirds, the intellignece of our hearts and our bodies has wisdom that the mind does not.  Knowing how to develop those intelligences within ourselves and our people are critical to engage our people, compete with robots and thrive in this century.  Today if leaders are not willing to make the “shift“, they will not succeed.
