After discovering her passion for helping others embark on a journey of professional and personal transformation, Ms. Lam retired from her 25 plus years of service in the public sector to follow her dreams and found the ACT Camp (Action, Change, Train, Collaboration, Add value, Mentorship and Partnership), a coaching company focusing on communication, personal growth and leadership development.  She is a member of the John Maxwell Team, an elite group of certified coaches and communicators mentored by renowned leadership expert and New York Times best-selling author John C. Maxwell. In the past, Ms. Lam was president of the Los Angeles Chapter of the International Association of Assessing Officers, and an Executive Board Member of the Los Angeles County Asian American Employees Association as well as an alumnus of the Asian American Professional Association Mentoring Program.  Currently, she is a member of the Servant Leadership Institute and the National Association of Professional Women.  Ms. Lam holds a Bachelor of Science in Rehabilitation Counseling and a Master of Science in Special Education from the University of Texas at Dallas.
