TOPIC: LEADERSHIP AND KEYS TO SUCCESS

Hear from Rachel Kim Bierner, Sr. Vice President, Bank of America. Ms. Bierner is a technology executive and working parent who is a work-in-progress when it comes to achieving professional success, domestic tranquility, and perfect kids.  Nevertheless, she will share key lessons learned from her 20-year career in hopes to inspire others to aspire to “have it all”. During the second half, practice your elevator speech and interact with all the AAPA mentors.

KEYNOTE: RACHEL KIM BIERNER

Rachel Kim Bierner is a Senior Vice President at Bank of America in the Global Technology & Operations – Global Information Security (GIS) division, where she has accountability for cyber security strategy development and delivery. In her 15 years at Bank of America, she has had a broad range of experience in leading technology organizations, covering the full lifecycle of software delivery, program/project management, data management, application governance, access management, and technology operations.

 

Prior to joining Bank of America, Rachel was a management consultant with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), specializing in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) implementations for clients that ranged from internet startups to high tech corporations to petro-chemical conglomerates. Her engagements took her across the globe to implement Customer Service, Sales, and Marketing solutions for multi-national user groups. Rachel earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Economics from the University of California in Los Angeles (UCLA). She lives in Los Angeles with her husband and two children.
